Privacy Policy

We keep this website deliberately simple: no cookies, no tracking, no third-party advertising scripts. Here is what we do process, and why.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

AdPageGurus GmbH
Vitalis Str. 387
50933 Köln, Germany
Managing Director: Patrick Müssig
Email:
Phone: +49 176 845 057 06

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is delivered through the content delivery network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (for EU users: Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 Munich). When you access the site, your browser automatically transmits data that is technically required to deliver the pages: IP address, date and time of the request, requested URL, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system and the amount of data transferred.

This data is processed to deliver the website securely and reliably, to defend against attacks (for example DDoS) and to detect faults. Legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of this website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Cloudflare processes data on servers worldwide; the transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Cloudflare is certified, and on the EU standard contractual clauses in Cloudflare's data processing addendum. Log data is deleted or anonymised after a short period, at the latest after 30 days, unless it must be kept longer to investigate a security incident.

3. Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking tools. We do not create user profiles. Fonts and all other assets are delivered from our own domain, so no third-party font provider receives your data.

4. Contact form and email

The contact form on this website does not send anything to our servers. When you click "Send message", your own email program opens with the message pre-filled; the email is then sent by you through your email provider. We process the data you send us (name, email address, company, phone number if given, and the content of your message) to handle your request and for any follow-up questions.

Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We keep enquiries as long as necessary to process them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up questions, at most for 12 months, unless statutory retention obligations (for example for business correspondence) require longer storage. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by email.

5. Links to our products and to third parties

This website links to our own products adpagebuilder.com and evelin.io as well as to external platforms. Each of these sites has its own privacy policy that applies as soon as you follow the link. No data is transmitted to these sites by merely visiting this website.

6. Recipients and transfers

We only pass on personal data to service providers who process it on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR), namely our hosting and email providers, or where we are legally obliged to do so. We do not sell personal data.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15),
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16),
  • have your data erased (Art. 17) or its processing restricted (Art. 18),
  • receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20),
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21),
  • withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)).

To exercise these rights, email us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestr. 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.

8. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

9. Changes

We will update this privacy policy when our website or the legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
